Permanent Retainers
While many are removable and need to be taken out cleaning and soaking, we offer permanent ones that remain in place. This is especially beneficial for kids and teens, as this prevents them from accidentally being lost or damaged. Made from acrylic and stainless steel, these are connected to the back teeth and remain in place for the duration of treatment. We could use them to aid in orthodontic treatment, to shift teeth in minor cases, to address movement following treatment, or to allow your bone tissue and gums to reform properly around the new position of your teeth, preventing them from shifting back in the future.
